Norio Tanaka

1966年山口県生まれ
1991年Epic Sonyに入社後、Sony Record、Sony Music Communications、highway graphics、
その後再びSony Music Communicationsを経て2013年デザイン事務所arctik設立。
フリーランスのアートディレクター／グラフィックデザイナーとして
パッケージ、装丁、グッズ、エディトリアル、CI等幅広く手掛ける。

2011年ミュージックジャケット大賞準大賞、
2012、2013年British D&AD入賞。

代表作
androp／the brilliant green／Tommy february6／Tommy heavenly6／bird／CHEMISTRY／
EXILE／東方神起／スガシカオ／大江千里／今井美樹 等CDジャケットやツアーグッズ多数。
アニメ「京騒戯画」パッケージデザイン。
Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) CI／内装グラフィック等。

Norio Tanaka

Born in Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan in 1966.

In 1991, began working as a graphic designer at Epic Sony, then switched to Sony Record,
Sony Music Communications, Highway Graphics, and back again to Sony Music Communications.

Established arctik design office in 2013.
Works as a freelance art director/graphic designer.
Specializes in package designs, book covers, merchandises, editorial, and CI designs, and etc.

Awards
- Second place in 2011 Music Cover Award.
- 2012, 2013 – Achieved In Book awards at British D&AD awards.

Past works include: androp / the brilliant green / tommy february6 / tommy heavenly6 /
bird / CHEMISTRY / EXILE / JUJU / Tohoshinki / Sugashikao / Senri Oe / Miki Imai /
and many more CDs and tour merchandise designs.
Also worked on animation package design for “Kyosogiga”,
and Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) CI / Interior wall graphics.
